JOB SUMMARY
The Technology Manager oversees the agency?s client data management and is responsible for the overall coordination of the agency?s technology infrastructure, integration of software applications, and training staff regarding technology use. The Technology Manager assists in development and implementation of the agency?s website and social media strategies.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Data Management Oversee data acquisition process to ensure data integrity Manage ongoing support requests and administrative needs of database users Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality Craft and present reports and supporting documentation for key data constituencies addressing contract performance Manage outsourced implementation partners as required Integrate database with other third party solutions
Technical Support ? Server Level
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of central computer systems With assistance of third party consultant, perform routine system administration maintenance Create and manage user accounts and access to network resources Manage and maintain backup and recovery contingencies Manage Outlook applications, internal information and user accounts
User Support
Provide advice, training, and support to end-users in the acquisition, implementation, and operation of end-user applications including the organization?s intranet Install new or maintain existing hardware and software Provide orientation to new employees on existing network infrastructure to ensure standard use of information systems
Technology Planning
Analyze products and provide recommendations regarding use of proposed new products and services to the organization Assist with proposal development and project implementation Act as primary organizational interface with vendors Establish and implement policies and procedures for technology usage throughout the organization Monitor technology budget and maintain technology inventory and licensing
Online Communications ? in conjunction with Communications Director
Maintain website and social media applications as needed and in a timely fashion Determine all coding requirements for site creation including e-commerce capability, forms and specialized scripts Create or edit images and graphics for website use Perform Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Regularly monitor, evaluate and recommend social media tools, trends and applications Ensure donation platform is updated and functioning Responsible for administration of online payment applications (Artez and Click and Pledge), email marketing services (Constant Contact), and other applications that may be utilized. Monitor website statistics and traffic and report on effective key metrics, and trends Respond to inquiries from website users
Miscellaneous Technology Applications
Provide technical assistance as appropriate and requested Create and follow Standard Operating Procedures and Disaster Recovery Plan Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
